Indonesia PT Elevo Technologies (ETI) is the first company in Indonesia, which pioneered the presence of laptops to consumers for $100. There are two types of netbooks that have been released the Netbook Elevo R7 (screen 7 inches), priced at $100 and Elevo R10 (10-inch screen) is priced at $400.
Elevo R7 use 7-inch screen (800 x 480), ARM9 533MHz processor, WiFi 802.11b / g, OS Original Windows CE 6.0 or Android, Memory 128 MB, 2GB Nand Flash, 2-in-1 SD Card, 2 USB Port, Keyboard, Touch Pad, USB to VGA (Optional), USB to Ethernet (Optional).
Elevo R10 using 10-inch screen (1024 x 600), ARM9 533MHz processor, WiFi 802.11b / g, OS Original Windows CE 6.0 or Android, Memory 128 MB, 2GB Nand Flash, 2-in-1 SD Card, 2 USB Port, Chiclet Keyboard, Touch Pad, Built-in Camera 1.3 Mpx, Built in Stereo Speaker, Earphone Jack in / out, RJ 45 Ethernet LAN, USB to VGA (Optional).
At first glance it would seem there are awkward to use of the ARM processor, the OS that is not common usage and the lack of disk space in the form of SSD / flash module. Of course price is under $ 100, Netbooks Elevo R7 is intended for educational purposes such as the concept of One Laptop Per Child. While Elevo R10 with a more spacious screen (like any other Netbook) can be a cheap alternative for those who are 'really' want a netbook but insufficient funds. With the USB slot, you can just add an external hard drive or large flash disk at least as a place to store data (remember R7 and R10 only gives 2 GB of disk space is only enough to store the operating system only). The good news, both are already equipped with Wifi, so at least they are ready to work as the internet access of portable devices.
Support of Windows CE that do not use a lot of memory makes it easy browsing activities and responsive as well as Wireless LAN which can make easy access in places that have a hotspot area. Netbook Elevo R10 with a compact size and slim form clad in silvery color ready to be brought online activity.
